Woman arrested after tossing suspected meth and denying ownership of pants in Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A 48-year-old woman was arrested in Spokane Valley after allegedly discarding a bag containing suspected meth and claiming the pants she was wearing didn’t belong to her.

According to Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the incident unfolded on Sunday when law enforcement responded to a report of trespassing on private property at East Mansfield Avenue and North Robie Street.

Deputies said that at around 9 a.m., a Spokane Valley Deputy noticed a car parked on the property. The owner had previously asked deputies to remove anyone found there. As the deputy approached, he saw Martha White, who was digging around the passenger side of the vehicle.
