SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — The California Department of Parks and Recreation is planning to conduct prescribed burns at Wilder Ranch State over three weeks.
Beginning on the week of Nov. 11 and the two weeks following that, around 400 acres of grassland will be burned. The burnings will be weather-dependent; burning will be rescheduled if conditions are unfavorable.
