American Freight, a furniture and appliance store is closing all of its locations across the United States, including four in Colorado. The parent company just filed for bancrupcy.
On Nov. 3, American Freight ‘s parent company Franchise Group, Inc. announced plans to close all 328 locations after beginning Chapter 11 proceedings in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware. It’s part of a larger restructuring agreement, where Franchise Group said it will focus on keep its leading businesses open, including Pet Supplies Plus, The Vitamin Shoppe and Buddy’s Home Furnishings.
