SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — The leader of a multi-million dollar dark web drug ring will now serve 30 years in a federal prison after he was found guilty of selling oxycodone to customers in Utah.
Oluwole Adegboruwa, 54, of Las Vegas, Nev. was also ordered to a supervised release for life after his imprisonment and the forfeiture of over $20 million.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Utah said Adegboruwa’s financial forfeiture is among the largest in the state’s history.
Following a two-week trial earlier this year, Adegboruwa and his co-defendant Enrique Isong, 49, of Los Angeles, Calif., were found guilty of multiple federal crimes including conspiracies to distribute oxycodone and commit money laundering. Between October 2016 and May 2019, Adegboruwa used the dark web to sell more than 300,000 oxycodone pills to customers throughout the United States, including customers in Utah.
