Eva Longoria, known for her role in “Desperate Housewives,” has decided to relocate her family outside the United States. Citing the country’s post-pandemic climate, homelessness, high taxes, and the re-election of Donald Trump, Longoria says she is no longer content in the U.S.
Longoria, a prominent supporter of Democratic politics, expressed disappointment over Trump’s victory, saying it shook her belief that “the best person wins.” She noted that she had spent her adult life in Los Angeles but now feels a change is needed.
Longoria, who is of Mexican and Spanish heritage, now splits her time between Mexico and Spain with her husband, José “Pepe” Bastón, and their son. She acknowledges her privilege in being able to relocate, recognizing that many Americans are unable to do the same.
