A fall chill returned to the air Friday morning. Low temperatures were in the 40s in most locations. However, sunshine remains abundant Friday afternoon, so high temperatures rebound into the low and perhaps mid 70s. Friday night looks mainly clear and cool again, with lows in the low to mid 40s. Our weekend weather looks pleasant, with sunshine, some clouds, but no rain. High temperatures range from the low to mid 70s Saturday and mid to upper 70s Sunday.
Next week begins rain-free Monday, but another front arrives Tuesday. Temperatures remain warm, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Clouds increase, and at least some rain moves across Alabama as a result. Some rain may linger into Wednesday, but Thursday and Friday look drier and cooler.
