SUMTERVILLE — To consider that Jackson Stecher keeps getting better with each game is a scary proposition.

He’s only a freshman, and The Master’s Academy quarterback led the Eagles to their second straight Sunshine State Athletic Association championship Saturday night at The Villages’ HG Morse Stadium, fighting off Fort Lauderdale Nova Southeastern 49-42.

Stecher, who also guided the Eagles (11-1) to the title last year as an eighth-grader , threw for 213 yards and four touchdowns on 10-of-11 passing and also ran for 129 yards and another touchdown on 16 carries…
