Crews interdicted 21 migrants aboard a 34-foot boat about a mile west of Newport Beach, the Coast Guard announced Friday.
Authorities say during an evening patrol on Thursday, the Narwhal crew saw the boat “operating suspiciously” outside of Newport Harbor.
