Groveland Police Issue Scam Warnings, Suggest Use of Free Essex County Service

The Groveland Police Department says increased fraud, including mortgage scams, are prompting a reminder that residents should stay vigilant and research companies before hiring and paying someone for repairs.

Groveland Police Chief Jeffrey Gillen quotes the FBI as saying one of the quickest-growing scams is property and mortgage fraud.
