Fire rescue workers respond to structure fire in Stuart Saturday evening

STUART − A structure fire on Southeast Commerce Avenue Saturday evening caused some significant damage, a Martin County Fire Rescue spokesperson said.

Fire rescue officials responded to a fire alarm shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday night at the Paradigm Precision business in the 3600 block of Southeast Commerce Avenue, said Fire Rescue spokesperson Cory Pippin.

There was a small fire near a table that was kept in check by the sprinkler system. Crews were able to keep the flames from spreading and clear out the remaining smoke. Pippin said the fire alarms and a working sprinkler system were critical in the reduction of damage in the incident…
