The Volusia County School Board workshopped an additional rezoning proposal that could potentially go into effect during the 2025-26 school year and impact students residing in the county’s west side.
This year, the district rezoned more than 1,700 students , and it is considering more shifts in hopes of continuing to level school populations and ensure proper use of facilities.
