Albany, NY (WRGB) — Monique Santiago was last seen around 8:00 a.m. March 29, 1990. Her mother spoke to her by telephone at noon, when Monique reportedly called to say, she had missed the school bus and would stay home.
Monique has not been seen since. She has a birthmark on the back of her right leg, has gaps between her teeth, and may use the nickname “Pebbles”.
Annie Graniela, Monique’s mother, reportedly waited over eight hours before reporting her daughter as a missing child, because she believed that the police would not accept a report unless Monique had been missing for an extended period of time.
