WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – AAA of Western and Central New York unveiled its latest gas prices from around the region, including the City of Watertown on Monday.
According to the organization, the average cost of a gallon of gas in Watertown stayed the same for another week. The average price of a gallon of gas remained at $3.15, which has been the same for the last three weeks. The average price figure comes from a composite of different stations in and around the Watertown area.
Why is Thanksgiving so late this year?

- Batavia – $3.28 (down 1 cent from last Monday)
- Buffalo – $3.21 (down 2 cents from last Monday)
- Elmira – $3.13 (up 1 cent from last Monday)
- Ithaca – $3.36 (down 1 cent from last Monday)
- Rochester – $3.27 (down 3 cents from last Monday)
- Rome – $3.32 (up 1 cent from last Monday)
- Syracuse – $3.17 (down 2 cents from last Monday)
- Watertown – $3.15 (no change from last Monday)
The national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.08, down one cent from last Monday. One year ago, the price was $3.32. The state average is $3.15, down one cent from last Monday. A year ago, the NYS average was $3.62.
For drivers who use diesel fuel, the national average price for diesel is $3.53, down two cents from last Monday. The New York average is $3.87, no change from last Monday…
