FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) — A man was arrested Monday morning after allegedly stabbing his child’s mother and her stepfather during an altercation inside a medical office, Florence police said.
It happened at about 10:45 a.m. inside the Eastern Carolina Pediatric on McClure Court, near the Medical University of South Carolina hospital. After an altercation, police said the suspect, Tevin Washington, allegedly stabbed his child’s mother and then stabbed her stepfather who was with her.
After the stabbing, Washington fled with his biological child, police said. He was found at his home with the child about 30 minutes later. The child was unharmed.
