ST. LOUIS – One person was left dead Sunday night after an overnight crash in downtown St. Louis.
According to police, the crash happened around 10 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 44, near Walnut Street and the depress section of the highway. Authorities say the crash involved two vehicles, with one person left dead in the wreck. There is no word on whether anybody else was hurt.

At this point, police have not released any details about the person who was killed. There is also no information on what may have led to the crash.
Accident reconstruction crews were called in and they are handling the investigation into the wreck. FOX 2 has reached out to St. Louis City police to try and find out more details about the crash…
