Leipold wins national coaching award after KU upsets No. 6 BYU

LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) – An upset win over No. 6 BYU late Saturday night in Provo earned Kansas head coach Lance Leipold a national award this week.

The Jayhawks head coach was named the Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week, an award that celebrates the head coach of a FBS team who had a significant victory while embodying the award’s pillars of scholarship, leadership and integrity.
