( KRON ) — A multi-agency enforcement operation in Antioch over the weekend resulted in four felony arrests and four stolen vehicles recovered, according to the Antioch Police Department (APD). In total, 54 traffic stops were initiated during the enforcement period Saturday night.
The operation conducted by Antioch police with support from the California Highway Patrol and Kensington Police Department targeted crime hot spots, APD said.

In one incident Saturday night, officers attempted to pull over an Infiniti in the area of Cavallo Road and 18th Street. The driver refused to stop, police said, and the ensuing pursuit reached speeds of over 110 miles per hour. Officers on the ground backed off of the pursuit, and a CHP helicopter continued following the suspect vehicle from the sky.
The police pursuit ended with the suspect vehicle crashing into a wall on the Loveridge Road overpass, Antioch PD said. The suspects inside the vehicle were detained after initially fleeing on foot.
