Commercial vehicle driver could face life in prison for crash death of migrant

A Texas truck driver has been indicted on serious charges related to the death of a migrant who was ejected in a crash that occurred in Arizona over the summer.

On October 30, 2024, Moises Gabriel Castillo, 39, was indicted by a federal grand jury on one count of Conspiracy to Transport Illegal Aliens and four counts of Transportation of Illegal Aliens, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona .
