Johnstown’s Donte Tisinger signs letter of intent with Boston University

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — Greater Johnstown star Donte Tisinger signed his letter of intent to play for Boston University next season. Tisinger averaged 23.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game last season for a Trojans squad that went 23-6 and finished in second place in the LHAC.

“When I went up there on a visit, it just felt like home. I just, I connected with the players and the coaches very well,” said Tisinger. “They have a winning culture up there, and he’s always playing in the NCAA Tournament. That’s where I can do that.”

Tisinger is the first boys basketball player at Greater Johnstown to sign with a Division I program since 2006…
