Waterbury Man Faces Additional Charges For Shots Fired In Ansonia

ANSONIA A Waterbury man was arrested after allegedly firing a weapon in the North End neighborhood, Ansonia police said on Nov. 18.

According to a press release, Edward Rumley, 32, was arrested by Ansonia police on Nov. 12. He is charged with first-degree criminal attempt at assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge, criminal possession of a firearm, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Police said Rumley was involved in an Aug. 31 shooting on Fourth Street. No one was injured, and no property was damaged in that incident, according to police…
