Springfield, Montgomery, and South Hadley all experienced fires over the last 3 days, bringing our total for the month over 260.
22News spoke with Lieutenant Brendan Shea with the Springfield Fire Department about the resources it takes to keep these fires under control,” Typically, we don’t have hydrants, there’s not streets, so getting manpower, getting hoses, getting tools and resources there requires a lot more people to do that.
