Savannah State University helped this year’s Every Woman’s Marathon as the 17-mile checkpoint host. Students and staff of Savannah State University volunteered to help serve water and cheer on the runners as they entered the university.
As the runners entered the gate of Savannah State University, the Powerhouse of South greeted the runners at T. A Wright Stadium. Savannah State University students volunteered at the water stations as they served runners and cheered them on as they went through the campus.
