MONTANA – Temperatures were in the upper 20s and 30s west to the lower 40s across northeast Montana. Light rain continued across northeast and east central areas with snow southeast of the Billings are extending into northern Wyoming around Sheridan. S
now showers were falling across the west, mainly in the mountains around Missoula. A wind advisory for Fort Peck Lake through tonight with gusts up to 40 mph. It was wind across central and eastern areas with the strongest gust up to 46 mph across the border in Sheridan.
A strong cold front has brought colder air to the state with gusty winds. The rain and snow end early across southcentral and eastern Montana but snow showers will continue in the west. Drier air will bring partly to mostly sunny skies to the state on Tuesday with chilly temperatures…
