The NCHSAA’s 2025-29 realignment process passed an important hurdle Tuesday, designating member schools in classifications after releasing finalized Average Daily Membership (ADM) numbers.
Realignment occurs every four years, as mandated by NCHSAA Bylaw VI. This year’s has taken on greater importance, though, the organization approving a move from four classes to eight in May.
