Bizarre case of a Hagerstown man injured in two separate shootings four days apart

HAGERSTOWN, MD — Two suspects are in custody after a Hagerstown man was injured in two separate shootings last week, according to police.

The first incident occurred on Monday, November 11, around 7:20 p.m., when officers responded to the 100 block of W. Bethel Street after hearing gunshots. The victim, a 26-year-old Hagerstown resident, was found with a gunshot wound.

The second shooting happened on Friday, November 15, at approximately 2:40 a.m., in the 200 block of W. Franklin Street. Officers arriving at the scene discovered the same man had been shot again, this time in the shoulder. The victim was taken to Meritus Medical Center with injuries that were non-life-threatening…
