The first of a two-wave cold front has already hit Texas , bringing stormy weather to much of the Lone Star State and dropping temperatures significantly. However, a second cold air mass will soon blow through, bringing some serious fall feels to Texas – even bringing some areas of the state well below freezing.

It’s already started to feel a bit cooler across Texas after several weeks of nearly record-breaking heat for being this far into fall. The first truly strong cold front is currently sweeping across Texas, drastically dropping temperatures, but a second wave will bring the first real fall-like weather to town.

From the Texas Panhandle down to San Antonio, and even over to the greater Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, temperatures will see a major cool down. So, here’s everything we know about the next few days of weather in the Lone Star State.
