Man charged with trespassing

A man who had been previously barred from entering the Ruston Farmers Market was arrested after he returned to the premises last Saturday.

Andrew W. Garrett, 39, of Ruston, was arrested for criminal trespass and resisting an officer after it was determined he had been banned from the market at an earlier date.

Garrett refused to provide his name to officers. Once he was arrested, identification was found on him. He was booked at the Lincoln Parish Detention Center with bail set at $1,000…
