Authorities are searching for a pair of thieves who broke into a jewelry store in Santa Clarita and stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise on Monday night.
According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Wilkerson of the Santa Clarita station, deputies responded to the 26100 block of Bouquet Canyon Road at 8:49 p.m. to a call regarding a burglary.
Upon arriving at the scene – the Santa Clarita Plaza shopping center – responding deputies found the glass window at the front of Gold Buyer Depot smashed.
The two thieves had ransacked the store and stole $4,700 worth of jewelry, LASD said.
