WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA—A Lancaster man turned himself in to Warrington police this week to face charges that he tried to meet up with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl.
Police said that on Sept. 17, 2024, Blaise Diehl traveled from Lancaster to meet the girl, but he ended up meeting members of an online vigilante group. The group seized several electronic devices belonging to Diehl believing that they contained child abuse sexual material.
After search warrants were obtained, investigators found that one of the devices did contain child abuse sexual material. A two-month investigation led Diehl to be charged with charges including criminal attempt statutory sexual assault, criminal attempt involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, criminal attempt aggravated indecent assault and sexual abuse of children…
