Private developer to demolish old coal power plant in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Significant changes are coming to the waterfront in Bridgeport.

State officials announced Tuesday that a private developer has taken over the site of the old PSEG coal plant, with the big red and white smokestack along the Long Island Sound in Bridgeport.
