LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln’s child advocacy center is launching Brave fACEs, a new program to promote resilience and support trauma prevention.

BraveBe Child Advocacy Center’s initiative capitalizes “ACE” in Brave fACEs to stand for adverse childhood experiences, which can affect kids into adulthood. Officials said that can include emotional neglect, a parent suffering from a mental illness, or substance abuse.
