After starting the season off slowly, the Denver Nuggets are finally looking like themselves. They have an 8-5 record and sit fifth in the Western Conference standings.
Most of their success has been due to their offense. They are scoring 116.5 points per game which ranks in the top 10 of the NBA. Their offense has been led by three-time MVP Nikola Jokić, who is once again having a spectacular season as he is averaging 29.7 points, 13.7 rebounds and 11.7 assists in 10 games played.
While Denver’s offense has been a bright spot, their defense has not. Losing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s defensive abilities has hurt the Nuggets, who are allowing 115.1 points per game to opposing teams, the ninth worst in the league…
