7 arrested, over $200K worth of Nike sneakers discovered in SoCal theft bust

(KTLA) — Seven suspects were arrested after over $200,000 worth of stolen sneakers were discovered during a theft bust in Orange County Friday.

California Highway Patrol officers were investigating a theft that targeted a train container near the community of Amboy in San Bernardino County.

The suspects were accused of breaking into the container, which housed expensive Nike Jordan sneakers, and transporting the stolen merch into a U-Haul truck before fleeing the area.
