Don’t be confused by this, be invigorated, because this restaurant in New Hampshire was once surrounded by wilderness. As a midpoint trade route stop between Boston and Vermont, the Hancock Inn in Hancock, was established in 1789, according to onlyinyourstate.com.
Originally a hotel and bar, and now 235 years old, the property has changed owners and been re-named The Inn at Hancock, and the restaurant now dubbed The Fox Tavern.
When Pink Isn’t Really Pink
But wait, there’s more. The new “Pinks” lounge, with all the charm of the 1700’s, is anything but boring, with pink infused walls, unique food items and an eccentric drink list .
According to Instagram, the lounge is not called Pinks due to the pink front doors, but rather for the scarlet shade of traditional fox hunting coats. Everything here feels so warm, cozy and authentic.
