CLAYTON, N.C. (WNCN) — A fire truck was hit by another vehicle while responding to an earlier crash in Clayton late Tuesday afternoon, the Cleveland Fire Department said.
According to the fire department, the incident happened on eastbound Interstate 40 at mile marker 312. The first crash took place around 6:27 p.m. and involved a single vehicle.
