Altoona police say they’re being threatened after arresting Luigi Mangione

ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — After the arrest of 26-year-old Luigi Mangione at an Altoona McDonald’s , police say they’re now being threatened along with locals involved in the arrest.

In an impromptu news conference at the Altoona Police Department, Deputy Chief Derek Swope said that they are investigating threats made against the department and local people who were involved in the arrest.

This is clearly a very polarized case. We have received some threats against our officers and building here. We’ve started investigating some threats here against some citizens in our community.
