UGA fall graduation ceremonies set for Stegeman Coliseum

The University of Georgia will host two speakers who earned stellar careers in their professions at the Fall Commencement ceremonies planned for Friday on campus.

UGA reported this week that 1,773 undergraduates will receive degrees along with 1,433 graduate students.

Lisa Godbey Wood, a U.S. District Court judge for the Southern District of Georgia, will speak to the undergraduates at 10 a.m. in Stegeman Coliseum. John Maltese, who was head of the political science department at UGA from 2008 to 2016, will address the graduate students at 2:30 p.m. in the coliseum…
