CHAMBERSBURG- After over a year, Chambersburg PD have charged a Harrisburg man with selling opioids in the Borough of Chambersburg. Michael Robinson has since been charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance and felony criminal use of a communications facility. He is free after being given an unsecured bail of $25,000.
Around July 19th of 2023, Chambersburg PD say that Michael Robinson sold fentanyl to a confidential informant in the Borough of Chambersburg. Officers say that the sale, conducted at a location on Wayne Avenue, was viewed by the Franklin County Drug Task Force as well as being audibly recorded. To facilitate the deal, Drug Task Force members say that Robinson used a cell phone to contact the confidential informant.
