Shirley Ann Ulerick, 68, of Kokomo, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 8, 2024, at her home. She was born August 3, 1956, in Kokomo to Homer L. Campbell and Mildred N. (Braden) Campbell Redwine. She married Donald L. Ulerick Jr., February 8, 1973, in Knoxville, TN and he survives. They were happily married for 51 years.

Shirley loved people and would go out of her way to help a stranger or an animal in need. Not only would she cook for them, but she would also take them to doctor’s appointments, run errands to the drug store or grocery store or do anything she could to help others, she truly had a servant’s heart. Her slot car family was also very near and dear to her heart. She spent nearly every weekend with this “special” group of people. Shirley had a soft spot in her heart for animals too. She would find homes for many stray dogs and cats that wondered into her life and would also volunteer the animal shelters in the Peru area…
