Creek boys struggle mightily against Standish-Sterling

A season ago, Bullock Creek battled Standish-Sterling to a share of a Tri-Valley Conference title. On Wednesday, however, the Panthers looked much more like a defending champion than did the Lancers.

Standish-Sterling capitalized on a slew of Creek turnovers, ran the floor relentlessly, and cruised to a 73-46 victory in Jack Pine Conference boys’ basketball.

The Panthers improve to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the JPC, while the Lancers drop to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in conference play…
