Palm Beach County school district investigators found that a science teacher at Omni Middle School told students from Haiti, Ukraine and Russia in his class to “go back where they came from” and said they would be deported.
Although the school board voted to fire teacher Lovell Northern on Oct. 23, the 10-year veteran of the school district opted to retire effective Oct. 19, according to district records. He is 79 years old.
