FCS All-American Offensive Tackle Commits to Texas Tech

The Red Raiders are working to replace three offensive tackles who started games in 2024. Caleb Rogers has exhausted his eligibility while Ty Buchanan and Dalton Merryman are entering the portal.

The coaching staff made their first move toward rebuilding the starting offensive line today by adding Illinois State offensive tackle Hunter Zambrano. It was first reported by Max Olsen.

Zambrano has one year of eligibilty after starting three seasons at the FCS level getting All-American honors in his junior season. Two games into his 2024 campaign he cut his season short with a hip injury. According to ESPN Zambrano is a top 25 recruit in the portal and one of the most sought after transfers this offseason…
