CROTON FALLS – A resident of northern Westchester is held at the Westchester County Jail without bail on two felony assault charges as well as criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest and endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors, in connection with a December 5 domestic incident involving a stabbing in a residence near the Croton Falls-Somers town line.
State Police Troop K Public Information Officer Trooper A.J. Hicks reported Wednesday “screams could be heard from inside the residence as the first trooper arrived on scene. Entry was forced and the suspect, wielding a screwdriver, refused to comply with commands. Andujar Heriberto, 50, then allegedly attacked the trooper but was subdued without injury to the officer.”
Hicks said additional officers arrived on the scene and a taser was utilized to gain adequate compliance to fully restrain the suspect…
