A good loaf of bread can make all the difference at the dinner table. The importance of the loaf can not be overstated but where do you go to score on in the Danbury area? Someone recently posed this question on the Danbury Reddit page and there were some very helpful responses.
The initial post came from a user that goes by thescoopkid who wrote:
Where to get a good loaf?
We moved to Mill Plain area about 2 years ago, and I’m still confounded as to where to get a decent crusty loaf of Italian or French bread. Caraluzzi’s / Stop n Shop / TJ’s are non-starters. The bread there is disgraceful. There isnt’ a stand alone bakery anywhere near here. Where does someone get a decent loaf around Danbury? HALP
