(WWJ) — A Westland man could spend a year behind bars after being convicted of a box truck crash that killed two women earlier this year.
This week 33-year-old Jose Medina-Hernandez was found guilty of two counts of moving violation causing death, both one-year misdemeanors, Macomb County Prosecutor Pete Lucido announced Thursday.
The conviction comes six months after Medina-Hernandez was driving a box truck on M-53 when he rear-ended a Buick Verano, triggering a pileup involving two other vehicles. Both people in the Buick — 88-year-old Nancy Richmond and 63-year-old Crystal Brunn — were killed in the crash…
