Ex-Central Mass. residents charged with helping hundreds get driver’s licenses illegally

BOSTON — Two former residents of Worcester and Milford are among the five people charged with conspiring to obtain driver’s licenses for ineligible applicants, particularly undocumented immigrants without legal status, according to the office of Acting U.S. Attorney Joshua S. Levy.

Edvan Fernandes Alves De Andrade, 34, formerly of Worcester; and Leonel Texeiera De Souza Junior, 38, formerly of Milford, were indicted. Both currently reside in Brazil.

Gabriel Nascimento De Andrade, 26, of Boston; Cesar Agusto Martin Reis, 28, of Waterbury, Connecticut; and Helbert Costa Generoso, 39, of Danbury, Connecticut, were also indicted…
