NEW PALTZ, N.Y. — In the heart of New Paltz, headed down the busy Water Street Market, you may come across a quaint shop brimming with vibrant colors and intricate designs. Handwoven rugs and dresses decorate the walls around an assortment of Tibetan singing bowls, colorful books, and handmade clothing and jewelry, organized in bunches and scattered throughout. Kalsang Lama, owner of Himalayan Arts, has been selling handmade Himalayan products from Nepal for over two decades.
