GREENVILLE, Del. — A Pennsylvania man is facing vehicular assault and DUI charges following a multi-vehicle crash that left three people injured, including one seriously, Delaware State Police announced Thursday.
The crash occurred on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1:27 p.m. at the intersection of Kennett Pike and Old Kennett Road. Investigators determined that a green 2000 Ford F-150, driven by 58-year-old Frank Yacona of Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, was traveling southbound on Kennett Pike when it struck a black 2016 Nissan Frontier stopped at a red light.
The F-150 then continued forward, colliding with a white 2017 Nissan Rogue on Old Kennett Road, causing the Rogue to roll over. The 74-year-old driver of the Rogue was hospitalized with serious injuries.
