SARASOTA, Fla. – A crash involving a semi-truck caused hundreds of gallons of cooking oil to spill and snarled traffic for hours on I-75 in Sarasota County on Friday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the semi-truck and another truck crashed shortly after 6:30 a.m. Friday on the northbound side near the Fruitville Rd. exit.
The investigation and cleanup caused extensive delays for hours during the morning rush. All northbound lanes reopened by 10 a.m.…
