LOTHIAN, Md. — Anne Arundel County police discovered a handgun and a significant quantity of suspected cannabis after responding to a single-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Lothian.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at approximately 9:10 p.m. on December 11, 2024, after reports of a crash on Route 4 near Pindell Road. First responders found the driver trapped inside the vehicle and suffering from injuries.
Firefighters worked to extricate the driver, who was then turned over to Paramedic Ambulance 258 for advanced medical care. The patient, a 34-year-old woman from Virginia, was transported by ground to Capital Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
